Aims and Scope

Kolloidnyj Zhurnal publishes original experimental and theoretical works and review articles in the field of colloids and interfacial phenomena. The journal covers the whole variety of colloidal and surface phenomena: structure and properties of the interfaces; the phenomenon of adsorption and structure of the adsorbent layer and surfactants; capillary phenomena; wetting films; wetting and spreading; detergency. The topics of the journal include also formation of colloidal systems, their molecular-kinetic and optical characteristics, nucleation phenomena, surface forces, interaction of colloidal particles, stabilization and the criteria of losses of stabilization of various dispersed systems (lyosols and aerosols, suspensions, emulsions, foams, micellar systems). The Colloid Journal also examines the phenomena of electro- and diffusiophoresis, electro- and thermoosmosis, that is, phenomena associated with the existence of diffusion layers of molecules and ions near the interface. The audience of the journal: specialists in the field of chemical sciences, physics, mechanics of liquids, gases and solids, nanotechnology and nanomaterials.

The journal is peer-reviewed, it is included in the List of Higher Attestation Commission for the publication of works of applicants for scientific degrees, included in the international databases Web of Science and Scopus, as well as in the RSCI system.
