Editorial Policies

Aims and Scope

The scientific journal "Trudy` NGTU im. R.E. Alekseeva" is a quarterly peer-reviewed periodical journal. "Trudy` NGTU im. R.E. Alekseeva" publishes the results of research in the following scientific specialties:
  • System analysis, management and information processing
  • Computer science and information processes
  • Nuclear power plants, fuel cycle, radiation safety
  • Ground transportation and technological facilities and complexes

The main purpose of the journal is to promote the improvement of the quality of training of specialists in accordance with the strategic directions of state policy in the field of certification of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. The journal reflects the results of fundamental and applied scientific research, experimental developments of graduate students, doctoral students and applicants. The journal acts as a platform for open scientific debate, contributing to improving the quality of research and the effectiveness of the examination of scientific papers.

 
 

Peer Review Process

  1. The editorial board of the journal, within three days after the acceptance of the manuscript, transmits the materials to the deputy editor-in-chief for the appointment of reviewers.
  2. The reviewers of the manuscript are recognized specialists with a PhD or doctorate degree, as well as those who have published on the subject of the reviewed article over the past three years
  3. The reviewers may be members of the Editorial Board or specialists – candidates of sciences/ doctors of sciences (or holders of academic degrees obtained in a foreign country who have made a significant contribution to the development of the relevant field of knowledge) from among the scientific, scientific and pedagogical workers of the relevant branches of science.
  4. The deputy editor-in-chief selects a reviewer within seven calendar days and gives the manuscript to the reviewer within three days.
  5. The reviewer submits the review to the editorial board of the journal within three weeks.
  6. If the review of the material contains indications of the need for revision by the author, the materials (review, memo to the author) with the reviewer's comments are sent to the author for revision. The surname of the reviewer may be communicated to the author only with the written consent of the reviewer.
  7. After re-receipt of the manuscript (correction of comments by the author), the editorial board of the journal within three days transmits the manuscript to the same reviewer for re-review. If the manuscript is returned to the author for correction, the date of receipt is considered to be the day when the editorial office received the original version of the manuscript.
  8. In case of rejection of the material, the editorial board of the journal sends the review to the author by e-mail and indicates the possibility to send the manuscript for re-review at the request of the author. The surname of the reviewer may be communicated to the author only with the written consent of the reviewer.
  9. In case of repeated rejection of the manuscript, the editorial board of the journal sends the review to the author by e-mail.
  10. In all cases, the editorial board of the publication sends the authors of the submitted materials copies of reviews or a reasoned refusal.
  11. The reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the publication for five years.
  12. The editorial board of the publication sends copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request to the editorial office of the publication.

The scientific journal "Proceedings of the R.E. Alekseev NSTU" published 4 times a year.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The Publisher grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International) allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
